| Goodbye 2004....Hello 2005!
Well, its been one hell of a ride this past year, much like an emotional roller coaster. This particular ride seemed to take me to hell a few times, but hey, I managed to survive and here I am about to embark on yet another ride of my life. Hope for you folks, your ride was less turbulent than mine was.
Now the great question of 2005 for me is: What kind of vehicle should I get? Thought I'd start the year fresh, and when I mean "fresh," I mean a fresh new car.... I've managed to narrow it down to two choices:
Honda S2000
Infiniti G35
Both of them actually cost the same for the most part, and which I am financially stable to purchase. So, all of my ladyfriends, which would you rather have a ride in?
I know Myspace is the "in" thing right now, but I swear one of my new years resolutions was to update this Xanga page more often. Hahaha, sad my life.
Well that's it for now folks, hope you start off this new year with lots of dreams and goals. As the saying goes: "So many things to do, so little time to accomplish them."
| It's been a rough road for all of us.....
I think it's been about 3 weeks since my uncle had passed away. There was no way that my family was prepared for this incident, it happened so sudden. My parents by far have been hit the hardest, due to the fact that he was still alive and well the day before. Partying, playing mah jong, living the good life. I said good-bye to him on my way to work two days before he went, I didn't realize it would be the last time I said anything to him.
On Saturday, October 23, as I woke up from the same exact couch he use to sleep on every night, my auntie got a call saying that he was rushed to the hospital. I quickly woke myself up along with Michael and we rushed to the hospital immediately. Unfortunately, when we got there, he was already gone. A sudden rush of overwhelming emotion came across me. All I could do was comfort my uncle's girlfriend, which he was suppose to marry. For some reason, I never shed a tear the whole time. In a sense, I knew that he was gone, physically. But something in my mind kept telling me that he's not gone, that he's still here. With that said, I was emotionally stable to carry the burden of my family's hearts even to this day.
Everybody in my family says that he was too young to go, only 52 years young. His passing has given me a better understanding of how we are suppose to live our lives, and a better grasp of how death isn't the end of lives, but the beginning of a new one. My house seems so different without him there, I miss how he used to play with the kids, even Ricky notices that the couch he used to frequent is now empty.
I'm not saying any good-byes now uncle, you were always there when I needed a leg up on stuff, and you never hesitated to give things even though I didn't ask for them. For as long as you're still in our hearts, you are still alive. Until we meet again uncle, we will all meet again someday, and you can bet that I'll be looking foward to it....
| Grrr, if any of ya'll see me in person next time, give me a bitch slap for not updating this thing enough....
Anywho, I just came back from the racetrack, and boy did I ever miss it....... Met up with a couple of friends, had a few grudge matches, and ran some pretty decent times in the Supra (Best time was 14.3) Anyway, I still haven't found a replacement job yet, so I'm still keeping my eyes peeled for one. Actually, I applied for a job today at Redline, but I really doubt that I'll snag this one....
I think I'm starting to get weary on this whole "single" life thing. Yea sure, it was fun at first, but now I''m starting to see all of these couples pop out from nowhere. Hmmm, is it a sign for me? Damnit, this sucks.....
